This is the games of all games. Prepare for life sucking game play the likes of which have not been seen since the launch of World of WarCraft. Basically you control everything in the universe that you build, think SimCity on steroids. You control everything from how your creatures evolve to what type of spaceships they will design when they reach warp speed. Not to mention the ability to visit other worlds that people from all over the world have built via the information superhighway (Internet). Which means that after you spend 1500 hours+ building your perfect Utopia, you get to spend the rest of your life looking at other peoples Utopias. It Cometh September 7th of 2008 so don’t start any meaningful relationships for at least 6 months. Here is a full review of the game in graphic detail from Bit-Tech.net

News Corp in deal talk with Yahoo

And the fight goes on. Now there are strong reports that News Corp could combine it’s MySpace property with Yahoo! They would have a 20% stake in the new combined company. All this to fend off what has to be the first hostel take over of a tech company of this size. Even when AOL and TimeWarner combined a few years ago it was amlicable. I love Soap Operas. Well you are probably wondering were the hell has the techbros been? Well I’m in South Carolina tending to my sick mother who suffered a stroke 2 weeks ago today. So needless to say I have not posted new material since then.

Report: Sprint, Clearwire in new talks on WiMAX partnership

Talks are back on between Sprint and Clearwire over the future of WiMAX and a possible national network. The two companies are reportedly considering ambitious plans for a joint venture backed with outside funding from deep-pocketed companies like Google and Intel.

In the Lexicon of tech has there never been something like this. A few years ago Microsoft declared that is would do anything to stay in the console business. And they did. Everything from being willing to lose a billion dollars a year to rushing the next gen console the Xbox 360 to market well before Sony could even think about being ready to unleash the PlayStation 3. The Mac Daddy (Microsoft) basically put a smack-down on the old man super console (Sony). There Achilles heel of Sony has evident for several years now. Sony way, while maybe more expensive, is the only way. From the memory stick to the Mini-Disc, Sony will never learn. It also helps that the Mac-Daddy could run there entire company on there reserves alone for years. Sony not so much. I mean come on let face it, the only way that Redmond could screw up there lead is to allow Apple to get into the market. Ha!
